## Objective

Carry a selected research opportunity into Writer while preserving separate approval boundaries for research, generation, and publication.

## Successful outcome

A saved research result and a connected, editable article draft based on one approved opportunity.

## Prerequisites

- The correct client is selected.
- The research topic and market are known.
- The user understands that research and generation are separate credit-consuming actions.

## Browser steps

1. **Complete approved research.** Follow the Research journey through a saved result.
   - Expected: A completed opportunity board is available.
2. **Choose one opportunity.** Present the leading options and ask the user which keyword or opportunity to continue with.
   - Expected: One opportunity is explicitly selected.
3. **Open Writer handoff.** Use the Writer action for the selected opportunity and confirm that its research context loaded.
   - Expected: Writer displays an imported brief or prefill banner.
4. **Complete the brief.** Review audience, intent, market, language, sources, outline, and generation cost.
   - Expected: The article request is ready for a separate approval.
5. **Request generation approval.** Ask the user to approve article generation.
   - Expected: The user authorizes the second credit-consuming action.
6. **Generate and stop before publish.** Wait for the saved article draft, summarize its status, and stop before any external publication.
   - Expected: A traceable research-to-draft chain is complete.

## Approval boundaries

- **Before research:** Approve research scope and credits.
- **Before article generation:** Approve the imported brief and generation cost.
- **Before publication:** A third, separate approval is required; publication is outside this journey.

## Recovery

- If the handoff loses context, reopen the saved research result and select the opportunity again.
- If Writer shows the wrong client, stop and correct client context before generating.
- Do not repeat completed research merely because the Writer handoff failed.

## Guardrails

- Never combine separate approvals into one implied permission.
- Never change clients during the handoff.
- Never publish automatically.
- Keep the saved research and article URLs in the final summary.
